10 € Solaris - Stanisław Lem

For the first time ever, the novel 'Solaris' has been immortalised on a coin!

It is the first coin in the world from the "Stanisław Lem" series, which is devoted to his most famous novel. The combination of valuable metal and the global science-fiction phenomenon is a recipe for a successful investment.

The coin was struck from 2 ounces of pure silver in a limited mintage of only 2000 pieces worldwide! This factor makes it an excellent collector's coin. Reverse The coin depicts the main character of the novel, psychologist Kris Kelvin, who comes from Earth to a research station floating above the cytoplasmic ocean that covers the planet Solaris. It is a scene from the finale of the novel, when Kelvin explores the surface of Solaris alone among the fantastic shapes created by the living ocean. He has a scientific apparatus in his hand, which in the end will turn out to be useless during the study of a mysterious planet. Stanisław Lem was a futurologist, which is why the coin was refined with unique, modern techniques: the background of the reverse is decorated with metallic color printin turn a star selectively gold plated. What's more - the coin glows in the dark! Selected elements of the image were covered with fluorescent printing. Obverse while it features an adaptation of Daniel Mróz's artwork.

The coin is packed in an elegant wooden box with a certificate confirming its authenticity.
