This is the world's first coin in the 'Stanislaw Lem' series. The combination of valuable bullion and the global science-fiction phenomenon is a recipe for a successful investment.
The coin was struck from 2 ounces of pure silver in a limited mintage of only 2000 pieces worldwide! This factor makes it an excellent collector's coin. On reverse on the coin there is a profile of Stanisław Lem according to a photograph from the 1960s, when he celebrated his greatest triumphs and when his most important novels and collections of short stories were written. In the foreground you can see a model of a rocket that was in his office. Stanisław Lem was a futurologist, which is why the coin was refined with unique, modern techniques: the background of the reverse is decorated with metallic color print, in turn, a rocket selectively gold plated. What's more - the coin glows in the dark! Selected elements of the image were covered with fluorescent printing. On obverse there is a fragment of a character from Daniel Mróz's 1972 drawing for Stanisław Lem's "Cyberiad".
The coin is packed in an elegant wooden box with a certificate confirming its authenticity.
